Los Pericos in Willis

The food, as always, was great. The service was about the worst I have ever seen. Our waiter, unlike the ones at the tables around us, was unfriendly and said almost nothing at all. He never came over on his own to check on us. We got another round of salsa after literally waving him down but never another bowl of chips. Even after physically waving him down he stopped to wipe one table, move another, and then straighten chairs before he came over. As we sat for over 10 minutes with no water left, no chips, and no bill, we wondered aloud if he knew us from outside the restaurant and was mad at us. The service took a five star meal to a three and no rush to return.

I live this place. The food is stellar and the service is always top notch. Better yet, it is reasonably priced.

Love this place!! The atmosphere and ALL the food. Especially the Margarita's 🍹I am pretty much working MY way thru the Food AND Drink menu. First Mexican restaurant we ate at coming to Willis, Tx and WON'T go ANYWHERE else. The service is TOPNOTCH and The people are FRIENDLY and seem to LOVE their jobs. Kids are SO welcome there too. We go at least once a week!

Never been here so thought I'd it. For $13.00, I a size queso and a taco salad. Very, especially the queso, guacamole and ground beef. I eating here a lot more.

Los Pericos is fantastic. It has always been very good, but if you haven't been there in a while, give it another visit. Brand new menu has EVERYTHING on it. Even when they are packed the service is outstanding! Minimal wait at the most crowded conditions. They'll have you in and out and the food is amazing. Check it out.

Been to Los Pericos tons of times and always great service, prompt with chip refills and drink refills. A wide selection with no drop in quality. Only 4 stars since it's pretty much any good Mexican restaurant.

Ask for the top shelf margarita it is good! The food was ok. No complaints. Service nice. They have a smoking section if you smoke. I don't like smoking in restaurants personally.

I'll keep this review short and sweet, go pick up anything off of the menu and you won't be disappointed. Los Pericos has never cooked me anything that wasn't the very best it could be. If you like food in general, you'll be happy here!

Enjoyed our dinner. Wait staff was attentive and friendly. We are from Rochester NY so we enjoy finding good authentic foods while traveling the country. This place was very good and if we are back in the area we will be back.

First and last time for us. Ordered take out. Quesadillas were soggy and lots of fat in the chicken. Not usually too picky but way too much fat. Rice was poured on top of beans. Very sloppy. Margarita's is so much better and organized. Don't waste your money.

To say the service was slow would be an understatement, but the food was okay and the wait staff was friendly. We've been here a few times but no particular dish has really made us long to return. I hear the chicken dishes are pretty good.

The service was horrible and the food was not very good. The food was great before they closed for the pandemic. The Mgr. comped our food because the service was so bad and they didn't get it right.

Pedro is Awsome. Every time we go (every two weeks) he is rocking this restaurant. Great smile and awareness. I heard he was having g knee surgery on his right knee. Please help him be able to keep keeping on serving us. Great person.

Great restaurant. Warm, delicious salsa, crispy chips, great flour tortillas. Lunch specials are varied and low priced, service is just right. And the food is awesome.....love this place!

Their idea of tortilla soup is hot broth poured over raw onions tomatoes and cilantro. Not my idea of tortilla soup at all. I can do better than that.

In a day and age when cleanliness is of the utmost importance they brought us a highchair for my son that very clearly had not been cleaned. Aside from that the food is decent. And the service was really nice.

Excellent local spot for Tex-mex style food. Service was top notch no matter what server passed by you would not even have to ask for anything you need before they noticed and took care of you. Its definitely tex-mex so not too spicy. But the food is fresh and the meat was tender. I'll be back again.

Los Pericos is one of my favorite Mexican-food places in Willis. Today was pretty bad. There were only a few customers (due to covid19), still, they took 20 out of my 30-minute lunch break to bring my food. I ended up throwing it in the trash. Not a happy customer. Customer service, make or break...

There sauce is rlly good bruh

Nice, friendly family-run restaurant. Overall good. The cheese they use seems on the cheaper side, and their sour cream enchiladas are decent. I really go there for the horchata!

This place is fantastic! The food the customer service is great! The poblano fajitas are my favorite dish.

Love this place.. My go to spot whenever I'm in the area!Anything I have tried on the menu has been great but I have fallen in love with their crunchy TACOS!I don't believe I could make them at home any better!..

Their food is decent, but the service isn't very good. We had to go ask someone to get our order, then again to get the check. It wasn't busy at all either.

Tea was Very weak. No seasoning in taco meat. Chips not my fav. Salsa no flavor. Food needs cumin & cilantro!

It had been a few years since I had eaten here. Went to an LTC class and passed with flying colors and went here with the group to eat. Great strawberry margaritas! I have chicken fajita nachos that were great! Good salsa too!

They have cold 1 litre glass bottle frecas waiting. Very nice!

Food was good. We had a fairly large party, and everything was correct. Menu seems to big, but it was good.

Excellent service and food. We met a few friends out and had a very good time even staying at the table a little bit longer than. We did not feel rushed it all in thoroughly enjoyed the food in the friendly.

This restaurant is a hit-and-miss sometimes the food and service are good other times they are not we went there around 3 p.m. today and ordered some nachos they came to our table room temperature and we told the waiter and he brought the plate back to us and the whole plate had been microwave with the lettuce tomatoes sour cream and guacamole on it so we did not eat the nachos. We went and told the manager and he said they should not have done that but wanted to charge us for our two drinks which I said that was not right so he decided to give us our drinks for free not sure if we will go back to this restaurant because you never know if you're going to get good service or good food or not.

This place is cute, but if you're wanting an intimate dining experience that is even somewhat private don't go there. The decor is nice, but the way that the tables are set up makes you feel like you're rubbing elbows with everyone else that's there. It's fine I guess, the food was pretty good I have no complaints about that. Other than it may be a tad overpriced when you're not there during lunch specials.

One of the best Mexican food places around! A favorite place to eat. Always excellent food. Margaritas are very good!
